Roadrunner Cafe Does the Desert Challenge

Pat  and Keith raced in the "Wide Open Desert Challenge" on Sunday. If you don't know Pat, his Mom owns the Roadrunner Cafe. Keith rode shotgun and is helping him with his car. The girls in the car are cousins and basically there for decoration. Hey I'm not makin this stuff up, that's what Keith told me!! The boys had a good race, didn't break much on the car and took 3rd or 4th place. The best

part is the Roadrunner emblem on the side of his car. Makes his car look way cool...

This week at Roadrunner Cafe Open Mic we are featuring hamburgers!
There will be something for every taste.
Honolulu Burger
   Comes with Piña and Ham of course

    Add Choriso and all the trimmings

     Lots of delicious veggies

    No beef but specially prepared chicken

    Just like it sounds, with shrimp

    For my vegetarian friends

Like always (he said with tongue in cheek), food starts at 6 sharp; music at 7.

Los Barriles Art Festival Wrap Up

I have a lot of nerve writing up a "wrap up" for the Art Festival. I spent a grand total of 40 minutes there, mostly walking around while my long-suffering wife sold her delicious breads at her booth. BUT! My impression from talking to various vendors and visitors that it was a success. It looked real nice too. Lots of space, lots of parking. I forgot to take photos so you'll have to take my word for it.

This is a photo of the band "Blues Explozion" who were playing when I came back in the afternoon. I don't know any of these guys nor have I heard them before. They were good! If you like the blues, find 'em up in La Paz and enjoy the music.
